Mustard Tree aims to serve the local community in practical ways and to share with others the good news of the gospel of the kingdom of God. All Mustard Tree groups are primarily for people living in the local community.
- Fit for life: women's keep fit group. Tuesdays 7.20 - 8.30pm, £3, in Cambridge Street Hall.
- Community meal: monthly meal, 2nd Saturday in the month, £1.50, in Cambridge Street Hall.
- Playgroup: Group for pre school children aged 2 1/2 years to school age. Groups meet each weekday morning in term time. There is a waiting list for this group. More details can be obtained from the OFSTED website.
- Toddler Group: Mondays in term time 1.30 - 4.00pm, small charge for refreshment, in Cambridge Street Hall. No need to contact first.
- Toy Library: Opens fortnightly at the same time as the Toddler Group. Annual charge of £1. For families of pre school aged children.
- Activiteenies: Fridays in Holy Trinity Church, 9.30 - 11.30am. Group for pre school aged children and their parents or carers based around Bible Stories and activities for the children. There is a waiting list for this group.
- Women's Art group: Meets fornightly on Thursdays, 1.00 - 2.30pm. Qualified tutor. £30 for 6 sessions, all materials provided. Please book.
We also run occasional services (eg: Celebration Services for pre school children and their families and, in February 2006, a Breakfast Cafe Service for anyone who does not regularly attend a local church).
