Not So Young

For all those who are approaching or who have reached retirement. We have a friendly programme of meetings, outings and events. We meet fortnightly on Thursday afternoons at 2:30pm in the meeting place at Holy Trinity usually with a speaker or presentation.

Holiday at Home

Holiday at Home is a 3 day summer holiday (held this year in July) to give older people a break from daily routine without actually taking them away from home. We have a wonderful time of fun and friendship. Games, music, easy exercise and exciting outings take place over the three days based around Holy Trinity. Each day also includes an interesting talk to help us understand more about Jesus.

Community Meal

Many Not So Young members like to come to the Community Meal laid on by Holy Trinity on the 2^nd Saturday of every month in the Church Hall. Starts at 11:00 for coffee and newspapers if you wish, otherwise come at 12:30 for a cooked meal - all for just £1.50!

Bible Study

At present there are 2 daytime Christian Basics Bible study groups -which all older people are welcome to join. One meets on Tuesday mornings and the other on Tuesday afternoons. There are a number of beginners in the groups, so don't feel afraid to ask those awkward questions when you are thinking "everyone must know the answer to that!"
