Holy Trinity Playgroup
Who we areAn OFSTED registered early years setting for pre-schoolers from age 2 ½ upwards, established in 1990. As a major part of Holy Trinity Church’s outreach to the local community our Playgroup seeks to offer a loving, accepting and safe Christian environment for young children and their families. We aim to provide stimulating play for young children whilst having a concern for each child’s personal, social and emotional development during their time with the group. We would sum up our aims under the word CARE:- C – Concern for the well-being of the child is our priority. |

We offer individual care and education to young children through carefully planned, yet flexible, activities and by maintaining a high ratio of adults to children. There are a minimum of 5 staff and no more than 26 children in each session. We operate a key person system to ensure each child’s needs are met within the Early Years Foundation Stage - the curriculum we follow.
There is a Committee, under the responsibility of Holy Trinity Church Parochial Church Council, which attends to the management of the Playgroup.
