Since the pandemic, small groups have been meeting both online and in person - format may vary across different groups.
Small Groups are a key part of belonging as a member of Holy Trinity. Dozens have found them to be a good opportunity to get to know other church members, somewhere where they can belong and, most importantly, to discuss the Bible, grow as followers of Christ and pray for one another in the joys and trials of real life.
Most groups consist of around ten members meeting in a home, many on Wednesday evenings but also on Tuesday morning (one group with a creche for small children) and on Thursday evening. Lasting around two hours, there is time for talking, for studying the Bible (usually following our church's Sunday sermons) and prayer. Once a month the groups all come together for our main monthly prayer gathering, Prayer Focus.
Our clergy take overall responsibility for the pastoral work and teaching in the groups, which are coordinated by Alison Vinall and Jackie Hoey.
