2019 Student Welcome Evenings

6.30pm Sundays 22nd and 29th September - with food provided!

New course, new city, new friends, new Church - it can all feel a bit overwhelming!

At Holy Trinity we worship the unchanging God who has revealed Himself uniquely in Jesus and we long for students to meet and mature in Him as we encounter Him through His Word. We are an Evangelical Anglican Church, unashamed of the Gospel and committed to quality Bible teaching, applied to life.

We have a thriving student group that meets after the 6.30pm evening service every week in term time at the Church for a social meal and group Bible Study. During the week, we encourage all our students to meet 1:1 to study God's word and for pastoral support. Many of our students are involved in serving at Holy Trinity, and are linked to church families for food and friendship

Hear from our current students:

My name is Daniela and I am a 3rd year Law Student at UEA. I have been a member of Holy Trinity for about a year and I felt belonged right away. I love the church community and what it does for students like the student group. The Bible based service was refreshingly different! This summer I had the opportunity to serve as a leader at the Holy Trinity holiday club for children which was great fun and also an opportunity to  teach local children about Jesus.

My name’s Harry and I’m a 2nd year Medical Student at UEA. I joined Holy Trinity when I first moved to Norwich, and the church has served both me and my faith in so many ways. Holy trinity made me feel very welcome as soon as I walked through the doors, and the student community here helps to keep me encouraged and strong in my faith. I’ve grown in my faith so much this year alone, and Holy Trinity has given me the support and teaching to help me grow a stronger relationship with Christ. I really couldn’t imagine being at a better church, and I’m so excited for the years ahead of me here in Norwich!
