Students

At Holy Trinity we worship the unchanging God who has revealed Himself uniquely in Jesus, and we long for students to meet and mature in Him as we encounter Him through His Word. We are an evangelical Anglican church, unashamed of the Gospel and committed to quality Bible teaching, applied to life.

We welcome students from both NUA and UEA at Holy Trinity. Students are welcome at both of our services. We have a thriving student group that meets weekly after our 6.30pm service, where we eat a meal together, study the Bible, and pray together. We enjoy getting alongside and supporting our students, and offer students the opportunity to meet 1:1 to read the Bible with one of the student team. We love to create opportunities for students to meet and enjoy Sunday lunches with the wider church family.

We are keen to see our students grow spiritually and relationally while they are part of our church. Students can serve at Holy Trinity through music, technology, children’s/youth ministry, refreshments, welcoming and more. Spiritually, we run a Christianity Explored course, where you can explore the Christian faith, which is open to all.

We love getting messages from students; please do contact us if you are new to us, or would like more information.

Student Welcome 2022

Hi! My name is Nora. I’m a third year Mental Health Nursing student from Northern Ireland. I have been coming to Holy Trinity since the first month of my first year. It was the first church that I had attended in Norwich and I was a bit nervous as I didn’t know anyone at all. When I walked in, God’s Spirit shone through the genuine eyes and light-hearted greetings of the welcomers, some of whom are now my closest friends.

Holy Trinity is a prayerful and diverse church with a great biblical student ministry. Through Student Group Bible studies and seminars following the evening services, I have grown so much in my knowledge and love for our Lord Jesus Christ! The meals before the Bible study have also been a great way to have a good laugh with friends and welcome new people into our fellowship! I have also had many opportunities to serve at Holy Trinity through youth work, leading prayers and cooking for families and older congregation members.  HTN has been a gift from God that I’ll praise him for now and in eternity.
